Job Overview
We are seeking a TEMPORARY detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with various accounting tasks. This position requires proficiency in Quickbooks accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Support budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Jane for daily operations.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar clerical role is preferred.
- Familiarity with accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis is essential.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
