Location: Milton, Ontario | Part-Time (Sundays)
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Basketball Coach to lead youth training sessions for children ages 4–13 in Milton, Ontario. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about youth development, patient, and skilled in teaching the fundamentals of basketball while keeping sessions fun and engaging.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver weekly basketball coaching sessions for youth.
- Teach age-appropriate basketball skills, drills, and teamwork.
- Ensure classes are structured, safe, and enjoyable for all participants.
- Motivate and encourage kids to build confidence and sportsmanship.
- Adapt coaching to different skill levels and age groups.
Class Schedule (Sundays Only)
- Class 1 (Ages 4–6): 10:00 am – 11:00 am
- Class 2 (Ages 7–9): 11:15 am – 12:15 pm
- Class 3 (Ages 8–10): 12:30 pm – 1:45 pm
- Class 4 (Ages 10–13): 2:00 pm – 2:45 pm
Qualifications
- Previous experience coaching basketball or working with youth.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to create structured and engaging class plans.
- Positive, patient, and motivational attitude.
- CPR/First Aid certification (asset, but not required).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
