We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on bar management, staff supervision, and customer engagement. This role requires a hands-on leader who can maintain high standards of quality while fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Manage daily bar operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Supervise and train bar staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Conduct interviews and hire new staff members to build a strong team.
- Develop creative drink menus and oversee the preparation of beverages.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any concerns or feedback.
- Monitor the performance of staff and provide ongoing coaching to enhance skills in customer service and food preparation.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing, sales tracking, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or bar industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices, beverage preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order management.
- Experience in interviewing and training staff is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
