Mid Island Co-op is hiring a Manager for our Salt Spring Island Gas Bar

Things you’ll do:
- Represent Mid Island Co-op by being an ambassador and demonstrating our values of Excellence, Community, and Teamwork.
- Lead, manage and provide direction to all team members. Conduct human resources and payroll related activities (hiring, scheduling, performance management, etc.).
- Manage all store and merchandising standards, participate in the annual budgeting process, implement and adhere to company programs, policies, and procedures, receive and approve invoices, complete daily paperwork and manage monthly and year-end inventory.
- Work directly with senior leadership on financial, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Promote and maintain a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
Apply to become a Store Manager today if you're a team leader and team player with strong communication skills, and you can lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. You have a minimum of 2 years of retail/gas bar experience and 2 years supervisory experience. You may require Propane and/or FoodSafe certification. You have strong math skills and intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint).
Please note that this position is located on Salt Spring Island - preference will be given to applicants who already reside on Salt Spring Island. Relocation assistance may be available.
