As a Ballpark Setup Operations Attendant, you will play a crucial role in preparing event spaces to ensure a seamless and visually appealing environment for guests. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively with the events team. Your responsibilities will include setting up furniture, arranging decorations, and supporting the overall preparation of event spaces
Please note this is a part-time role tied to the Blue Jays season. This is a part-time contract position from till October 2025 with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
Furniture and Equipment Arrangement:
- Set up tables, chairs, and other furniture in accordance with event layouts and specifications.
- Place linens, tableware, and other essential items to create a polished and inviting atmosphere.
Decoration Assistance:
- Assist in the decoration of event spaces based on provided guidelines, themes, or client preferences.
- Ensure that decorations are securely and safely installed, paying attention to aesthetic details.
Collaboration with Setup Team:
- Work collaboratively with the setup team, including Venue Set-Up Coordinators and other attendants, to execute event setups efficiently.
- Follow instructions and maintain open communication with team members.
Basic Audiovisual Support:
- Assist in setting up basic audio visual equipment, such as speakers and microphones, according to the event's technical requirements.
- Report any issues with equipment to the Venue Set-Up Coordinator.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure that all elements of the setup meet quality standards.
- Rectify any discrepancies or issues promptly to uphold the overall event experience.
Signage and Branding Assistance:
- Assist in the installation of event signage, banners, and branding materials in designated areas.
- Ensure that all branding elements align with the client's specifications and event theme.
Vendor Coordination:
- Collaborate with external vendors, such as florists or rental companies, to assist in the delivery and set-up of their respective elements.
- Provide support to vendors as needed.
Post-Event Breakdown:
- Assist in the efficient breakdown of the event space after the conclusion of each event.
- Safely pack and store equipment, furniture, and decorations for future use.
- Support cleaning staff in restoring the venue to its original condition.
Qualifications:
Must be available to work 81 home games (evenings, weekends, and holidays) and other Rogers Centre concerts/events as required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality event setups.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in event setup or a related field is a plus but not required.
