Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers about their vehicle needs. This role is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction while managing service operations efficiently.
Duties
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide clear explanations of services and repairs needed, utilizing strong customer service skills.
- Create detailed service estimates and invoices, ensuring accuracy in pricing and descriptions.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, transactions, and vehicle history.
- Handle cash transactions and manage payment processing efficiently.
- Stay updated on automotive technologies and trends
Skills
- Previous experience is preferred to understand the fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Vehicle knowledge is beneficial for understanding technical aspects of repairs.
- Familiarity with various automotive services including oil changes, brake repair, transmissions, alignment, suspension, tire service, shocks & struts
- Experience in auto estimating and service writing for effective communication with customers and technicians.
- Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with clients and address their concerns promptly.
