We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their automotive repair experience. Your expertise in automotive repair sales and strong customer service skills will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, ensuring customers understand the work being performed, and current specials availible
- Utilize strong sales techniques to upsell additional services and products
- Manage cash handling processes accurately, including processing payments and maintaining records.
- Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area, adhering to dealership standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in this role, preferably within the automotive industry or service shop environment.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and mechanical knowledge is recommended.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Moderate computer skills
- Sales experience is a plus, particularly in upselling products or services related to automotive care.
