We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at a busy automotive dealership. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their satisfaction and trust in our services.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Assess customer needs by listening attentively and asking relevant questions to determine the best course of action for their vehicle.
- Provide detailed explanations of services required, including repairs, maintenance, and any additional work needed.
- Utilize sales techniques to upsell services and products that enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service recommendations, and vehicle history.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure clear communication regarding service requirements and timelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring compliance with dealership policies.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive dealership environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Sales experience with a focus on upselling services is highly desirable.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $70,000.00-$87,683.45 per year
