Vickar Mitsubishi is recruiting an Automotive Parts Advisor who will be responsible for the experienced maintenance of parts inventory, assisting department selling, ordering and receiving parts and accessories. They will act as the dealership’s front-line customer relations representative for the Parts Department, ensuring customer service excellence!
Schedule will include alternating Saturday shifts.
Pay will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Professionally attend to parts requests from customers, Technicians and Service Advisors
- Research the availability of parts/accessories, either within dealership stock or from other sources
- Order and receive parts
- Daily inventory control
- Participate in annual physical stock inventory (usu December)
- Keep department shelves, desks, walkways, neat, orderly, and safe
- Verify accuracy of daily sales balances
- Other departmental or facility duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1-2 years Parts experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Must have a strong understanding of vehicles and their inner workings
- Attention to detail, eg accurate data-entry
- Effective written and verbal communications
- Able to deal with staff and customers professionally at all times
- Able to work effectively in a busy environment
- Experience with CDK automotive software an asset
- MUST have a valid Manitoba Class 5I, 5F driver's license with acceptable driving record
