We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their parts needs, ensuring that they receive the right products in a timely manner. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory, processing orders, and supporting the overall efficiency of the parts department.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts for their needs.
- Process orders efficiently using POS systems while ensuring accurate cash handling.
- Maintain organized inventory records and ensure stock levels are adequate for order fulfillment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Utilize math skills to calculate pricing, discounts, and other necessary figures accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a parts department or similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and inventory management.
- Basic math skills for accurate pricing and calculations.
