Austech Custom Fencing, a reputable fencing company based in Rocky View County, is looking for an eager and reliable individual to roll up their sleeves and contribute to a lively work environment.
Gate Installation/Maintenance (year-round):
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install automated gate operators and related equipment.
- Service and repair of automated gate operators and related equipment.
- Proficient in operating hand and power tools
- Support skilled trades people and take on additional tasks delegated by the manager.
Installation (seasonal):
- Load and organize installation equipment into company vehicles efficiently and safely for transportation to and from job sites.
- Execute clean-up duties after installations, at job sites and the company site, to maintain a tidy work environment.
- Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of all installation equipment and vehicles.
- Collaborate with the installation team to facilitate seamless operations.
Qualifications:
- Criminal Background Check (completed within the last 6 months).
- A clean driver’s abstract and a professional driving approach
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills (on-the-job training provided)
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools
- Ability to work outdoors year-round
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with the following experience will be given preference:
- Electrical wiring experience (asset)
- Truck and trailer experience (asset)

Schedule:
Installation Season:
- Range between 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Off-Season:
- 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
- Normal working hours are 8 hours a day with the opportunity of overtime.
Job Type: Full-time
