JOB TITLE: Drafter
JOB TYPE: 40 Hours per week, Full-Time, Permanent, Monday-Friday
SALARY: $50,000+ yearly (subject to experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION
· Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent project changes.
· Ability to follow complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings using company and drafting standards.
· Accuracy and effectiveness in electronic drafting.
· Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of both manual and electronic drawings.
· Coordinate with designers, technicians, and other personnel to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight.
· Review drawings from construction teams and engineers and provide adjustments as necessary
· Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude.
· Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status.
REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
· Strong communication skills and high level of organization.
· Experience in completing AutoCAD drawings.
· Proficient in MS Project and the MS Office Suite of products.
· Familiarity with construction methods and the building codes is an asset.
· Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
· Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
· Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
· Strong focus and attention to detail to ensure completion of task with thoroughness and consistency.
