We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the automotive repair industry. As an Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in automotive repair and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Support the team in heavy lifting tasks as needed during vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn more about automotive systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during various repair tasks.
- Previous experience or coursework in automotive repair is a plus but not mandatory.
