Animal technician
Full time 35 hours
Monday to Friday
Must have a reliable car
No smoking, no vaping
26 to 28 $ per hour depending on experience
Must have min 5 years experience
A college or university background is preferred.
As an animal technician, you'll :
- work with large animals
- clean cages, pens, trays, equipment and fittings, to keep animals clean and comfortable
- feed and water animals
- handle and move animals safely
- administer medicines accordingly to the vet instructions
- care for newborn animals
- check the environment (for example, temperature and humidity)
- monitor the condition of animals , recognise and resolve any behavioural problems
- obtain samples and measurements
You are also comfortable with teaching animal health and you have a positive attitude.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
