The core parts of your role would be to:
- Database Management and Design: Oversee and, when necessary, handle database design, implementation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data completeness and accuracy by identifying and addressing gaps or missing information.
- Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to uphold data integrity and meet regulatory standards.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to support informed decision-making, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders.
- Departmental Collaboration: Liaise with various departments to understand their data requirements and create data management strategies that align with business goals.
- AML Team Support: Provide consistent, accurate data support to the AML team for their analysis and reporting needs.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor team members on best practices for data management and utilization.
- Respond to Ad Hoc Requests: Address ad hoc requests promptly, ensuring flexibility and attention to detail.
- Issue Management: Log and address issues promptly, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve them effectively.
- Support to Director: Provide ongoing support to the Director of AML/ATF Data, Analytics and Operations.
Let's Talk About You!
- Degree in Computer Science or IT, master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a database-related role (e.g., Database Administrator (DBA), Data Architect, ETL Developer, SQL Developer, Database Manager), with hands-on experience working with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platform technologies for data integration, modeling, and management.
- Working knowledge of the database management & design is required.
- Working knowledge of the ETL processes is required.
- Proficient in SQL, Azure, Fabric, programming in python
- Quick in learning and getting acquainted with new software and processes.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and well organized.
- Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Should be able to work in a team setting and will work closely with other organizational teams to support their projects.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and independently with high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities (multi-tasking).
