This individual will be required to follow lab processes and procedures, prepare, assign and deliver materials for pathologists, perform accurate data entry to ensure we are providing best service to our patients. Key Responsibilities: Filing and organizing materials. Preparing and receiving items for transport across Alberta. Assigning and delivering slides to pathologists. Coordinating with Iron Mountain for material retrieval and storage. Performing accurate data entry. This role involves working independently while collaborating with all disciplines in our department—from Medical Lab Assistants to Pathologists. Additional Required Qualifications:Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Office. Excellent computer keyboarding skills. Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required. Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Epic LIS program. Experience in Cytopathology and/or Anatomic Pathology.
