Position Overview
We’re hiring a full-time Operations Coordinator to help us stay organized and keep our projects on track. This is a hybrid role combining administrative tasks (60%) with project coordination duties (40%).
You’ll work directly with the owner and help shape how this role functions as the business grows. This position has strong potential to evolve into a full-time Project Manager role for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative (60%)
- Organize and maintain digital project documentation
- Track project expenses and flag discrepancies
- Manage time tracking, daily logs, and receipts
- Support internal workflows and light bookkeeping
- Use tools like Buildern, Slack, and Google Drive daily
Project Coordination (40%)
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Follow up on quotes, delivery timelines, and scheduling
- Ensure timely responses to client and prospective client inquiries
- Help track project milestones and deadlines
- Attend occasional site visits and in-person meetings
What We’re Looking For
- Fully bilingual in English and French (written and spoken)
- Experience in construction or renovations is a major asset
- Interest in the construction industry is essential
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Tech-savvy — comfortable using digital platforms and learning new tools
- Proactive and independent — able to take initiative and solve problems
- Strong communicator — calm, clear, and professional under pressure
- Willing to challenge existing systems and suggest improvements
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car for site visits
Nice to Have
- Experience with Buildern, Slack, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
- Based in Montreal and available for occasional errands or meetings
- Long-term interest in project management or construction operations

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
