As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for payment application from customer remittances, working with the credit and the invoicing team in processing invoice/payment adjustments, voids and rebills as well as working with various other departments on miscellaneous payments received.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of the daily deposit,
- Processing of incoming payments (EFT, Cheques, Credit Cards) in Great Plains in compliance with financial policies and procedures,
- Reconciliation of short and overpayments from remittance including processing adjustments and contras,
- Processing Refunds,
- Investigate unknown deposits and missing remittances,
- Maintaining monthly reporting,
- Obtaining order numbers from customer reference numbers,
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.

- Post-secondary education in a related field or demonstrated experience in an office environment,

- Adaptable,
- PC skills – Windows, MS Office Suite, Great Plains accounting software.
