Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Clerk

Prestige Auto Group Ontario, home to Woodbine Nissan, Oakville Nissan, and Oakville INFINITI, is currently seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. This is a key support role within our accounting department, reporting directly to the Controller.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, respectful, and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with a strong work ethic, excellent manners, and the ability to take full ownership of financial data input, reconciliation, and deadlines.
What You'll Do:
Post new and used vehicle deals accurately and efficiently
Reconcile accounting schedules and correct discrepancies
Process dealer trades, wholesale deals, and internal transfers
Prepare and manage bank deposits
Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
Review vendor statements and maintain positive vendor relationships
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings
Assist with additional accounting duties as assigned by management
Who You Are:
3–4 years of accounting experience required; dealership experience is a strong asset
Previous experience with Reynolds & Reynolds or PBS is preferred
Solid understanding of automotive deal posting, A/R & A/P best practices
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving abilities
Able to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency and accountability
