Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk to join our growing team. This position is continuing and will offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with an industry leader. You will play a key role in the timely and accurate management of financial transactions, supporting our mission to provide excellent services to the faculty and our partners.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable:
- Process and record payments from clients and vendors.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure prompt follow-up for collections.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients as necessary.
Accounts Payable:
- Review and process supplier invoices.
- Ensure accuracy in payment records and timely payment processing.
- Reconcile accounts payable with vendors.
General Financial Support:
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records for audits.
- Support the team with any other accounting-related tasks as required
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable and payable is preferred, but not required.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of accounting software is an asset.
