Job Purpose:
Joining the Viking-Cives family you will have pride, be result driven, motivated, and extremely organized working with Payroll to provide day-to-day support with a payroll of 200+ employees, along with working in accounts receivable.
The successful candidate will report to the Accounting Manager. N.B. Applicants must have the right to work in Canada. Viking Cives is not able to offer sponsorship at this time.
Job Duties:
Accounts Receivables - such as but not limited to:
- Prepare and issue high-volume customer invoices based on purchase orders, delivery confirmations, and shipping
Documents
- Work closely with the shipping/logistics and sales departments to verify product delivery and billing accuracy
- Problem solve with discrepancies and issues
- Answer customer inquiries and issues in relation to accounts receivable invoicing
- Customer Credit card payment processing
- Generate and send customer statements accurately and promptly
- Prepare and review A/R aged receivables listing on weekly basis to review 30, 60, 90, 120+ old and follow up promptly
on delinquent invoices and accounts.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Occasionally work with other accounting team members as needed.

Skills/Qualifications: Strong knowledge in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel), Syteline ERP
Requirements:
Confidentiality, good attendance, strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent time management skills, works well under pressure.
Education/Experience:
2+ years experience in Accounting or College Diploma or it’s equivalent required.
