Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Academic Tutors to provide professional support for university and college students across various disciplines.
Responsibilities:
1. Assignment Support
- Assist students with a wide range of academic tasks, including:
- Essays, Reports, Reflections
- Business Plans
- Presentations (PPT + Oral Script)
- Posters, Blogs
- Dissertations, Group Essays & Presentations
- Online Exams (support and preparation)
2. One-on-One or Group Tutoring
- Provide academic guidance through personalized sessions.
- Offer exam preparation support (Final Exams, Mid-terms, Quizzes).
- Assist with brainstorming, outlining, and revising assignments and dissertations.
- Support students in developing academic skills and confidence.
Subject Areas:
Our tutoring covers a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to:
- Business (Management, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Social Sciences & Humanities (Education, Psychology, Media, Policy, Environmental Studies, etc.)
- STEM Fields (Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Sciences)
- Medicine & Health Sciences
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in at least one of the fields listed above.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in academic tutoring or mentoring is an asset.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
- Graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) preferred, but not required.
Addition
- Mandarin Chinese language skills are an asset.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and subject expertise.
