Administrative Assistant

Objective Financial Partners Inc. - Markham, ON

We are looking for a dependable, detail oriented, and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ability to work independently and multi-task are essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver, organized, and has the ability to be extremely productive working independently from home. Financial industry and/or general accounting and tax knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Answer incoming calls and emails, prepare correspondence for new and potential clients
  • Liaising with new potential clients as well as our current clients
  • Updating our CRM (Equisoft Connect)
  • Provide administrative support to financial planners
  • Conduct general business errands including mail pick up and scanning of documents at our Markham office
  • Maintain social media accounts and website
  • Light bookkeeping duties
  • Prioritize and multi-task to meet various deadlines
  • Assist with ongoing projects

Qualifications

  • Experience in an administrative capacity
  • Experience in the financial industry and/or general accounting and tax knowledge in an administrative role would be an asset
  • Experience with QuickBooks would be an asset
  • Strong computer skills, and proficiency in standard applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word) and working in a CRM (Equisoft Connect)
  • Experience with social media platforms
  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
