Primary Care Alberta is seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Analyst to support the operations of a provincial digital health information platform. This role bridges digital infrastructure with operational needs and plays a key part in maintaining backend systems, coordinating data integrations, and supporting performance reporting. The Analyst will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and shared services to ensure platform stability and continuous improvement.
Description:
Reporting to Team Lead – Alberta Find a Doctor Program, The Analyst is responsible for maintaining and enhancing content management systems (CMS), coordinating API schema updates, and troubleshooting integration issues. The role includes monitoring system performance, supporting backend configurations, and contributing to reporting dashboards. The Analyst will also provide first-line technical support to internal users, document system changes, and assist with platform enhancements. During the transition to regional health networks, the Analyst will help redesign access roles, support data feed oversight, and ensure continuity of service. Success in this role depends on technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across operational and technical teams.

Additional Required Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in information technology, web development, health informatics, or a related field. Experience with CMS platforms, APIs, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics). Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills. Familiarity with healthcare data.
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in web design, information design, information technology, information sciences or related discipline. Minimum of 4 years of practical experience in a similar role. Experience with CMS and advanced front-end web development tools and concepts – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, responsive web development, etc. Certification in ITIL ® V3, Business Analysis and Project Management.
