ARK is seeking Team Members to join our Events team.
This is an opportunity for you to make a tangible impact on the lives of children with mobility issues and their families! Help us Reshape Their World!
Time Commitment: Approximately 3-4 hours per week on average; actual hours may differ depending on event timing and seasonal workload.
ARK desires to host 2-3 events per year to raise awareness and secure donations of funds and in-kind services and materials to complete the much needed home renovations. Our team is currently looking for Volunteer Events Team Members to help us achieve seamless event execution. If event planning is something you are passionate about, we would like to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Events Team Lead in planning and executing fundraising events.
- Support event logistics, including but not limited to registrations and guest assistance.
- Assist in coordinating with external vendors.
- Assist with the physical setup and breakdown of event spaces.
- Participate in team meetings, briefings, and post-event debriefs.
- Other duties as assigned by the Team Lead.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior event or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment or supplies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for community engagement and making a difference!
Accessibility Renovations for Kids (ARK) aims to ease the daily life of children with mobility challenges making their houses feel like their home. ARK envisions a community where no child has to struggle unduly with accessibility in their own home.
