We are seeking an enthusiastic Event Manager to join our team at the University Women's Club of Vancouver. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing memorable events that enhance our guests' experiences and elevate our brand. Your contributions will be vital in establishing our venue as a premier destination.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, and guest services.
- Develop event budgets and manage expenses to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with vendors and negotiate contracts to secure the best services.
- Promote events through various channels to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Ensure exceptional customer service before, during, and after events.
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
- Gather feedback from guests post-event to improve future offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Event Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $49,927.40-$90,474.22 per year
