We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service to pet owners while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary practice. Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, treatments, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including laboratory coordination.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets.
- Provide clients with information on pet health care and clinic services.
Experience
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology or experience in a veterinary setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record management.
- A background in laboratory procedures or related fields would be beneficial.
