We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth daily operation of our veterinary clinic. This position involves managing client communications, scheduling appointments, handling administrative duties, and supporting the veterinary team in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, fostering a welcoming and professional environment.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments for veterinary services.
- Respond to phone calls and client inquiries regarding services, medications, and general pet care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the clinic’s management system.
- Process payments and assist with billing questions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Support inventory management for clinic supplies and medications.
- Coordinate closely with veterinary staff to ensure efficient clinic workflow.
- Provide clients with general information regarding available laboratory services.
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using computer systems and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures is a plus.
- Demonstrated empathy and a caring attitude towards animals and their owners.
- Ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
