We are seeking a skilled Sushi Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, and other sushi menu items according to recipes
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station
- Assist in receiving and storing ingredients
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
