We are seeking a skilled and passionate in the art of sushi preparation to fill this exciting role.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and create a variety of sushi and sashimi dishes to perfection.
- Ensure all sushi ingredients are fresh and stored properly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi station.
- Work closely with the team to create new menu items and specials.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Requirements:
- Have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a Japanese restaurant is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
