As the Surface Land Administration Student, you will be preforming day to day activities and projects that will provide the development and understanding of the following skill sets: planning and organizing, systems, processes and general job knowledge. - Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
- Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday)
- Term length: 12 months
- Term start: May 2026
- Safety sensitive position: No
Key Accountabilities:
- Help facilitate abandonment and reclamation projects and understand activities related to the program
- Ensure data integrity/maintenance of surface files
- Assist with capital projects and understand the role of surface land in acquiring wells and facilities
- Assist with procedure review and updating
- Support the third-party process and understand liability and regulations associated to granting consent
What You Bring to The Role:
- Currently enrolled in the Energy Asset Management Program or a related post-secondary education program
- Experience with Accumap, Abadata, Qbyte Land System, provincial databases
- General knowledge of the surface lifecycle
