Reporting to the Manager of Systems and Administration, this temporary position is responsible for data entry, order entry and clerical backup for the Service Centre division of Salit Steel. This includes coordinating office activities and paper flow, general reception duties, shipping and receiving, and coverage for production-related tasks as required.
Concise communication, interpersonal skills, organization, and an ability to work quickly and accurately are essential skills necessary to perform in this vital position.
This position is located at our Niagara Falls location ( 7771 Stanley Ave, Niagara Falls) and would require the successful candidate to be onsite Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. We are actively recruiting for an open role within our organization.
Position Functions
- Quote / Order Entry into ERP system and Microsoft Office applications
- Document management throughout the office
- Operate switchboard / reception coverage
- Data Entry as assigned
- Perform various inventory transactions in ERP
- Importing documents into ERP
- Tracking / Compiling information
- Provide coverage for other administrative positions as required
- Other duties as assigned
The successful incumbent will be working 40+ hours per week in an office setting. On-going use of computers is required.
