Spray Foam Installer
As a Spray Foam Installer, you’ll be responsible for applying spray foam insulation in a variety of settings — from residential homes to commercial and industrial sites. Your focus will be delivering top-tier insulation that enhances energy performance, air sealing, and overall building efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Here’s what a typical day may involve:
- Install spray foam insulation with precision across multiple project types throughout Nova Scotia
- Prepare work areas, including masking and protecting surfaces not to be sprayed, and ensuring proper ventilation
- Understand spray foam products, proper application methods, and basic building science
- Operate and maintain spray equipment safely and efficiently
- Oversee site quality, track inventory, and help keep jobs running on schedule
- Handle routine troubleshooting and light repairs on spray equipment
- Maintain open, professional communication with clients, team members, and on-site trades
- Complete daily equipment and safety checks, wearing all necessary PPE
- Set up work areas, load supplies, operate tools, and ensure quality work before project close-out
- Work safely at heights and in outdoor conditions when needed
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in spray foam application
- Strong knowledge of spray foam equipment, materials, and application techniques .
- Understanding of building codes and regulations related to insulation installation considered an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- CUFCA certification is considered an asset, but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
