We stream live card breaks, celebrate big pulls, cover sports storylines, and create daily content that turns casual fans into lifelong hobbyists. The role
Own Northof7’s social presence end-to-end across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X. You’ll plan the editorial calendar, capture and cut high-impact short-form video, ship daily posts, and report on performance. Expect fast turns around live breaks, product drops, and timely sports moments.
What you’ll do
- Plan & ship: Build a weekly content calendar, schedule posts, and publish daily across TikTok, Instagram (feed, Reels, Stories), YouTube Shorts, and X.
- Film & edit: Capture studio and on-location footage (phone/DSLR), pull highlights from streams, and edit in CapCut (hooks, captions, cuts, effects, sound syncing).
- Design: Create thumbnails, stories, carousels, and overlays (Canva/Adobe).
- Trend with taste: Track and jump on trending formats, sounds, and memes that fit NA sports culture and hobby news quickly and on-brand.
- Measure: Track KPIs (views, watch time, completion rate, follower growth, CTR, saves/shares), deliver weekly insights, and test into what works.
- Optimize for discovery: Apply basic SEO, keyworded titles/descriptions, smart hashtags, and platform best practices/algorithms to improve reach.
- Live & timely: Support live posting during key games, release days, and late-breaking hobby moments (evenings/weekends as needed).
- Collab: Work closely with on breakers to line up shoots, secure product/players/storylines, and keep everything on brand.
What you’ll bring
- Short-form mastery: Proven track record growing TikTok and Instagram accounts; portfolio of Reels/Shorts with strong hooks and retention.
- CapCut proficiency (required); comfort with Canva and basic Adobe (Premiere/Photoshop/Illustrator) a plus.
- Filming chops: Hands-on experience with smartphones/DSLRs, lighting, audio, and framing for vertical video.
- Platform fluency: Up-to-date on features, trends, and creator tools; you know when to post, how to title, and what to measure.
- Analytics literacy: Can read native insights (TikTok/IG/YT) and translate data into action.
- Hobby knowledge: Understand teams/leagues (NHL/NBA/NFL/MLB), rookies/prospects, parallels/inserts, release cycles, grading basics, and community norms.
- Elite sports IQ: Deep knowledge of the NHL, NBA, NFL, and MLB, plus UFC and WWE, etc. you live and breathe sports and can then turn sports storylines into timely hooks, captions, and content ideas.
- Organization & pace: Calendar discipline, fast turnarounds, and comfort working around live broadcasts.
- People skills: Clear communicator who collaborates well with on-air talent and behind-camera teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Whatnot, Fanatics Live, or eBay Live ecosystems, or live-shopping content.
- Experience running light paid boosts (Meta/TikTok) and A/B testing hooks, thumbnails, and captions.
- Familiarity with scheduling/reporting tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Sprout).
Success looks like
- Consistent weekly cadence (e.g., 5–7 posts/platform) with on-time delivery.
- Month-over-month growth in views, follower adds, saves/shares, and retention.
- A repeatable content system: templates, shot lists, b-roll library, and a clean calendar.
- Timely, on-brand coverage of live breaks, major hits, sports storylines, and product releases.

Pay: $41,600.00-$65,000.00 per year
