Service Advisor

St. Paul Dodge is currently seeking a Service Advisor to join our growing team! We are looking for a happy, eager and confident individual who is skilled in customer service. As the Service Advisor you will gather information to identify the required vehicle repair and maintenance work. This is a busy job in a fast-paced environment and it can be very financially rewarding for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the customer service industry - We want people who love people!
• Excellent Customer service skills and detail orientated
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight time constraints
• Proficient in computer software and office equipment
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
• Advise customers about necessary service for routine maintenance for current and future visits.
• Confers with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work order for needed repairs.
• Writes a brief description of the customer's concern on the repair order to help the technician locate the problem.
• Explains the work performed and the repair order charges to the customer.
• Handles customer inquiries.
• Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Manages open work order list.
• Experience in a previous Service Advisor role is considered an asset but not required! We are willing to train!
