Job Duties
- Supervise the bookkeeping of accounts (including, but not limited to, making journal entries and account reconciliations) of the business;
- Keep accurate and complete records of all financial and administrative activities;
- Provide, revise and update internal reports so that they are more convenient and efficient, then provide external reports, as needed;
- Prepare monthly billing to franchisees;
- Support for internal billing verification and follow-up of procedures related to new franchisees;
- Preparation and verification of accounts payable and corporate credit card reports;
- Prepare the analysis and regularly monitor the cash flows;
- Follow up on the collection of accounts receivable from the company;
- Preparation, verification and accounting of payroll;
- Preparing the monthly tax return for consumption;
- Prepare monthly dashboards to provide simplified financial information to operations, facilitating decision-making and monitoring of results;
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts;
- Prepare and provide support for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements;
- Analyze the monthly financial statements according to the budget;
- Maintain end-of-year documents and worksheets, and assist in the preparation of independent audits or audits;
- Assist in the maintenance of policies and procedures relating to complex financial and accounting matters;
- Implement new processes and processes to improve and improve the Finance department
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related discipline and / or equivalent combination of postsecondary education and relevant technical experience
- CPA student – an asset
- 3-5 years and over of experience in business accounting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central 365 - an asset
- Experience in the field of franchising an asset
- Good knowledge of the complete accounting cycle
- Excellent computer skills and general understanding of computer accounting systems
- Practical knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PPT)
