SAP Basis Administrator

Job Role- SAB BASIS Administrator

Location : Montreal, QC– Onsite

Hire Type- Full Time

Job Summary:

· Monitor and self-assign incoming tickets related to SAP Basis administration

· Provide system administration support for all SAP systems and environments

· Perform daily and weekly system checks

· Perform refreshments and environment creations

· Perform transportation activities outside of work hours and on weekends

· Ensure that all requests are processed in a timely manner

· Need to interact with other internal teams such as DBAs, Unix administrators, telecommunications, SAP security, and functional analysts

· Documenting incident resolution and solution designs

· Participate in SAP and third-party application projects (satellite applications needed by the SAP ecosystem, including but not limited to SAP console, Flexera, STR Fax, PBS archiving, etc.)

· Assist management in the development of overall project plans and schedules

· Efficiently design and implement core solutions across a wide range of SAP modules

· Act as an analyst on the third-party applications for the approach and strategy that will be used to upgrade or implement the third-party applications

· Coordinate with Domtar's third-party application system vendor/integrator to execute the chosen approach and strategy

· Act as technical lead and mentor for the SAP administrator who will be assigned by Domtar to some of these projects

· Create and adhere to deliverables according to project work plans and business requirements

· Ensure that best practices in system administration are used, and that Basis is involved to reduce/mitigate risk

· Continuously monitor and improve SAP environments as a whole by:

· Monitoring SAP usage to ensure performance and availability

· Working with the Basis operations team to implement environmental monitoring and alerts

· Participate in regular team meetings

· Execute defined SOX controls, identifying opportunities to improve control posture

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00-$135,000.00 per year

Experience:

• SAP BASIS: 8 years (preferred)
• SAP Admin: 8 years (preferred)
