As a Sales Representative - Trainee you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and growing strong customer relationships that result in increased sales in the region, in addition to developing and implementing strategies for existing and targeted accounts.
This job requires 60-70 percent travel involving meeting with current customers, establishing relationships with new customers, and attending sales meetings and training seminars when required. There will be a good amount of collaboration required between the sales manager and office staff so we require that you be a team player. Applicants must be highly self-motivated as you will be required to develop new customers in your territory. This position requires strong written and oral communication skills in both English and French. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing service to French-speaking clients. With our office based in Mississauga, Ontario the representative will be expected to travel between provinces regularly and throughout their assigned territory.
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.
- Develop and maintain a customer base consisting of new and existing accounts
- Travel within assigned territory to service and visit with customers
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis
- Develop forecasts for monthly, quarterly, and yearly demand and goals
- Maintain profiles on all current, potential, and target accounts

3. Customer Service Team / Operations

Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications
1. Education:
a. College Diploma/Undergraduate degree in any discipline
b. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree (Do not remove as this is required language)

3. Licenses / Certifications:
a. Valid driver’s license – required
b. Permanent Resident (PR) Status / Canadian work authorization required
