About the Role
Are you a results-driven leader with a strong grasp of government procurement and regional sales strategy? Levitt-Safety is looking for a Sales Manager, Federal Government & Ottawa Valley to spearhead our federal sales strategy across Canada, with a regional focus in the Ottawa Valley. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, driving business growth, managing key accounts, and aligning cross-functional teams to exceed customer expectations.
The successful candidate must be fully bilingual in English and French.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of the sales team, you will:
- Lead federal government sales initiatives and strategy across Canada, with a regional focus on Ottawa Valley.
- Manage and support the Federal Government Sales Specialist to ensure successful execution of plans.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales, Field Sales, Service Managers, and Marketing to drive a unified go-to-market strategy.
- Oversee budget planning and sales forecasting, tracking performance using Salesforce CRM and analytics.
- Coach and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and customer-centricity.
- Manage major accounts in the National Capital Region, including key pricing programs such as NMSOs.
- Represent Levitt-Safety at industry events and customer engagements to build lasting relationships and market insights.
- Support cross-country regional sales teams in federal business development efforts.
- Collaborate with the Service Team on integrated solutions and customer visits.
- Champion internal alignment and best practices in safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Proven experience in B2B sales leadership, preferably in the public sector, safety, or industrial markets
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes and government contracting (NMSOs, standing offers, etc.)
- Ability to lead high-performing teams and drive strategic results
- Strong business acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and margin management
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data-driven decision-making
