You will lead and coordinate a results-driven sales team by developing market strategies, building strong customer and stakeholder relationships, ensuring operational excellence, and driving growth through effective team management and strategic initiatives.
What you will be doing
- Coordinate sales activities, ensuring team accountability and performance
- Oversee the development and implementation of market and pricing strategies to optimize market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Analyze market data and recommend actions to strengthen our competitive position
- Take ownership of divisional initiatives and directives from key stakeholders
- Support team members in resolving customer concerns, including disputes, quality issues, invoicing, and collections
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and potential customers
- Actively pursue new bidding opportunities
- Meet and exceed annual operating targets
- Complete reporting as required
- Represent BURNCO at local and national industry associations
- Collaborate with other groups and divisions across the company
What we would like from you
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience required; aggregate and ready-mix concrete industry experience preferred; knowledge of construction materials considered an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field considered an asset
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and identify mutually beneficial business opportunities
- Strong understanding of operational best practices, methodologies, and industry trends
- Demonstrated experience managing and motivating teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Command Alcon software is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet BURNCO’s MVR standards
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory

Location and other key details:
- This is a full-time, permanent position based out of our Calgary Hangar office: 200, 5055 11th St NE, Calgary, Alberta
- Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional additional hours as business needs arise
