Job Summary
We are seeking a Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our vibrant dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a background in the food industry or customer service, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires effective team management, ensuring that both staff and guests have a positive experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory levels and manage supply orders to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
- Handle cash management duties, including cash handling and reconciliation of sales reports.
- Utilize POS systems (Micros POS) for order processing and financial tracking.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote restaurant services and enhance customer engagement.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Experience in supervising staff within a fast-paced food service environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the hospitality industry.
- Ability to conduct interviews and select qualified candidates for various positions within the restaurant.
- Previous experience in kitchen operations or barista roles is advantageous.
