Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team at The Zesty Lemon. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the food industry, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of success in a managerial role. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and cleanliness.
- Create and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Train and mentor staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage inventory levels and control costs to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Work closely with the owner to develop and execute marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends or as best suited for the business at the time.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and point-of-sale systems.
- A passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Hands-on experience in food preparation and kitchen operations is required.
