Runnymede LTC Home, a 200-bed long-term care home in Toronto, Ontario is an exciting new project that will be dedicated to enriching the lives of our future residents in partnership with UniversalCare, our family members, valued employees, and community partners. Residents are expecting to be admitted in the Summer of 2025.

Our team is currently hiring for a permanent full-time RAI Coordinator for this new build. Reporting to the Director of Care, the RAI Coordinator position is a critical role with overall accountability for the planning, directing and coordinating of activities that support the efficiencies of the nursing care team and the safe and effective delivery of care to our residents.

As part of our team, your role as a RAI Coordinator contributes to our resident experiences in the following ways:

Qualifications:

· Must possess current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse.
· Sound knowledge and experience with implementation of educational strategies and adult facilitation.
· Must possess three (3) years related work experience, specific to RAI MDS.
· Proficiency with the classification process and funding indicators.
· Strong leadership abilities and highly proficient time management and organizing skills.
· Must have a minimum of two (2) years long-term care experience.
· Sound knowledge of the Fixing Long-Term Care Homes Act 2021, Ontario Regulations 246/10.
· Must posses excellent written and oral communication skills, problem solving abilities and be detail oriented.
· Ability to work with interdisciplinary team members and other internal stakeholders.
· Proficiency with computers and experience with clinical information systems.
· All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector check.
· Have a passion to promote person-centered care and work with the senior population.
