Cookie It Up is a gourmet cookie company that has been making extraordinary packaged cookies for more than 40 years. We are looking for a capable individual to be our Quality and HACCP Coordinator.
Requirements:
1. Experience in managing a HACCP or higher level food safety program.
2. At least 3 years of work in the food production industry.
3. Strong organizational and documentation skills and a stellar attention to detail.
4. Proficient English language skills – both written and verbal.
Valuable assets:
* HACCP and/or other food safety certifications.
* Experience in infrastructure maintenance.
* Experience in quality management.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Oversight and management of a HACCP food safety program.
* Scheduling and execution of annual third-party audits including related activities such as mock recalls.
* Coordination of quality checks and quality programs to ensure that all cookies meet our standard of excellence.
* Facility maintenance.
* Oversight of Kosher certification.
Secondary Responsibilities:
* Coordination of equipment repairs and maintenance.
Day shift, Monday to Friday.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Education:
- DCS / DEC (preferred)
Experience:
- Food industry: 3 years (preferred)
