Summary
As a Project Manager Assistant, you will support the project management team in executing projects efficiently and effectively. Reporting to the Project Manager, your role will involve utilizing core skills such as negotiation, time management, and project planning to ensure project milestones are met.
Some responsibilities include:
- Maintain consistent communication between insurance adjusters, property managers and their clients (policy holders and tenants), and subcontractors throughout all aspects of the job process in XA
- Comply with document and timeline requirements as set by client service level agreements and TIL-KA Construction DKI standards; meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- When in the office, be the first point of contact when assignments come in (including contacting the customer, confirming details of the job and scheduling an inspection, and updating customer record in company software, etc.)
- Schedule initial inspection of properties following procedures and attend as needed (including DRS, Docusketch tour, take pictures, etc.)
- Support the Project Manager in maintaining job files (from beginning to end), documents, material orders, pictures, reports, permits, obtaining quotes from subtrades, etc.
- Participate as needed in regular on-call afterhours rotation for afterhours claims; inspect and assess property damage to residential and commercial properties. Provide reports to upload.
- Support the Content Processing team as needed
- Produce/Revise Xactimate estimates that are assigned using company software.
- Help the Project Manager monitor job costs
- Other administrative duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Computer Skills Required (Microsoft Outlook, database management software, web-based applications, mobile applications, mobile devices)
- Strong experience in Construction and/or Insurance Industry
- IICRC or trade related accreditation an asset (WRT)
- Understanding of Xactimate and XactAnalysis process
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License required
- Driver’s Abstract in good standing
- Clean Criminal Record
- Working Knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
Wage to be determined based on experience.

Pay: $57,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
