We’re looking for a kind, capable, and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our close-knit team at Kuriosities and Crow’s Nest, two whimsical retail shops in the heart of downtown Charlottetown. Our shops are known for their handcrafted jewelry, unique gifts, and meaningful stories - and we’re seeking someone who will take pride in helping us bring that magic to life, every single day.

What you’ll do:
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and upholding shop standards
- Provide thoughtful, attentive customer service and build lasting relationships with our clientele
- Create beautiful in-store displays and assist with seasonal window design
- Assist with training, scheduling, and motivating seasonal staff
- Help with social media content and website updates
- Perform keyholder duties including opening, closing, cash handling, and daily deposits
What we’re looking for:
- 1–2 years of experience in a retail keyholder or supervisor role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- An eye for display and merchandising
- Writing skills and comfort with digital tools/social media
- Experience or interest in jewelry is an asset, but not required - we’ll provide training!
- Must be bondable; criminal record checks will be conducted
This is a year-round position with flexible scheduling in quieter seasons, and a vibrant pace during the busy summer months. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us and help shape the customer experience at our beloved shops.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
