ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re looking for the next member of our growing product team. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of product strategy, design thinking, and human-centered design principles. They are fluent in the latest technology trends and passionate about building impactful, user-centric solutions. This person is an innovative problem solver, self-starter, and strong collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This is a hybrid/remote position and qualified candidates across Canada are encouraged to apply, though preferential consideration may be given to candidates who are able to report to Rentsync's office 2 days per week.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and utilize customer data to identify new product opportunities and improve existing offerings.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Data) to align, develop, and execute product initiatives.
- Prioritize product features and tasks based on customer needs, business goals, and measurable impact.
- Communicate product plans, progress updates, and results clearly to stakeholders.
- Gather, analyze, and incorporate feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Create detailed, high-quality product specifications and documentation.
- Lead user research initiatives to gather insights and inform product improvements.
- Set, monitor, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
- Ensure timely delivery of product milestones, managing trade-offs effectively.
- Mentor and support team members, promoting growth in product design and management skills.
- Champion a customer-centric approach to maximize product value, innovation, and utility.
- Drive data-driven decisions, optimize post-launch product performance, and proactively solve challenges.
- Strong quantitative skills and proficiency with analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools to interpret data trends and customer behaviors.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex product ideas to diverse stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of product strategy development, roadmapping, and project management tools.
- Proactive, with demonstrated ability to quickly drive momentum and rapid iteration.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, adept at aligning cross-functional teams towards common strategic goals.
- Comfort and capability in navigating ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Proven track record in launching successful products and managing their lifecycle effectively.
- Experience in conducting thorough market research, competitive analyses, and leveraging customer insights.
- Demonstrated capability in leading cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Data.
- Experience mentoring and developing team members.
- Familiarity with Figma Design/ After effects, Miro/Lucid charts
- Experience with HTML/CSS
- Experience in real estate or Marketing syndication verticals
- Experience with AI prompt engineering
