Summary:
This position responsibles for managing day-to-day procurement operations, creating skus for new launches, placing purchase orders and executing timely delivery of products. This role will have the ownership of sku data accuracy in in ERP system, purchase orders on time delivery, vendor management and cost negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be accountable to the end-to-end purchasing process, including but not limited to quotation reviews, price negotiation, order placement, quality assurance and shipment booking. Seek automation opportunity leveraging data management to optimize the process, improve the accuracy, uplift the effectiveness and reduce the cost.
- Manage vendors by routine communications, maintain excellent vendor relations, and ensure compliance Giftcraft Supplier Guide.
- Review all vendor quotes that have been approved by Buyers to ensure accuracy and compliance in our company standards.
- Become a subject matter expert on your categories and ensure accurate setup of new suppliers, skus and duty codes and meet product launch deadlines.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders to vendors, accountable for cost negotiations, payment terms, delivery date, and acknowledgement of order confirmation.
- Monitor all orders to ensure on time booking and shipping. Expedite late orders as required.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality control, payment, and shipping documents issues in a timely manner.
- Work with 3rd party providers on product test and factory inspections.
- Prepare and update purchasing reports to support management decisions. Monitor and maintain supplier performance and communicate results.

Qualifications:
- Postsecondary education with a specialization in Supply Chain, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or similar area
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement/supply chain
- High level of sense of urgency, attention to detail and can-do attitude
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, self-starter in automating manual process
- Advanced MS Office, including Excel and outlook
- Experience working with the overseas vendors preferred
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Netsuite ERP an asset
