We are looking to add a Process Coordinator to our Winnipeg VPC Team.
Salary: $45,000 – $65,000 annually
The ideal candidate must demonstrate/possess the following skills, abilities and competencies:
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Process Coordinator supports with analysis of workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementation of changes to enhance productivity and quality
- Facilitates communication and collaboration between the different departments and stakeholders to ensure a smooth process execution
- Process Analysis, examining work flows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies and areas for improvement
- Performance monitoring by tracking key performance indicators (KPI’s) and analyzing data to assess process effectiveness
- Tracking the performance of the implemented processes, identifying further areas for optimization and ensuring that process is aligned with the organizational goals
- Pro-actively contributing to the process improvement efforts in manufacturing
- Track and prepare data and reports on key operational standards for fiber manufacturing
- Liaises with supervisors and management to gather information and resolve issues
- Prepare flow charts and processes
- Prepare training materials and facilitate training sessions
- Other duties as requested by supervisor
Requirements:
- Completion in post secondary education in manufacturing, process engineering, business or a related field would be an asset.
- 3 – 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Critical thinker with high accountability and sound decision-making skills
- Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, including a preference for a candidate with strong leadership skills
- A proficiency in computers including Microsoft Suite, PSI and Limble
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with repetitive tasks
- Strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to adapt, manage multiple priorities in a highly dynamic and changing environment
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member
