We're looking for a multi-talented team member to join us in a hybrid role supporting both the kitchen and front-of-house operations.
Role Overview:
This is a blended position for someone who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in both food preparation and customer service. You'll spend part of your time in the kitchen assisting with baking and food prep, and part of your time at the front of house (FOH) engaging with customers, making drinks, taking orders, and maintaining a clean and inviting café space.
Key Responsibilities:
Back of House (BOH) – Prep Cook/Baker
- Prepare soups, sauces, salad dressings, and baked goods according to recipes
- Label, date, and store ingredients and prep items correctly
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards at all times
- Assist with daily kitchen opening/closing duties
- Monitor inventory and communicate low stock items
Front of House (FOH)
- Greet customers warmly and take orders with care and accuracy
- Prepare and serve beverages, smoothies, and grab & go items
- Maintain cleanliness of the café, including customer seating area, beverage station, and washroom
- Restock FOH supplies as needed (cups, lids, grab & go fridge, etc.)
- Handle payments, follow opening/closing cash procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in food service, baking, or prep preferred but not required
- Friendly, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- A passion for plant-based or healthy eating is a plus
- Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$19.18 per hour
